The Chevrolet Trailblazer offers a choice of engines. The base powertrain is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gas engine with 137 horsepower. It works with a continuously variable automatic transmission and comes with front-wheel drive. A 1.3-liter turbo three-cylinder engine is available if you want all-wheel drive. This powertrain delivers 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels.
When equipped with the available tow package, the Trailblazer can tow up to 1,000 pounds. The most efficient Trailblazer comes with the larger 1.3-liter engine and front-wheel drive. It will get up to 29 mph in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. You can count on a Chevy Trailblazer for its reliability. If taken care of, it will go for well over 150,000 miles. 

Safety Features

You'll get a full suite of advanced driver aids no matter what Trailblazer model you choose. All trims come standard with a forward collision warning system with automatic braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Chevy's Driver Confidence Package is available for the LT trim and above, adding a blind-spot warning system, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The Technology Package for the ACTIV and RS trims gets you adaptive cruise control and a high-resolution rearview camera. 

Technology

As expected in new vehicles, there's lots of technology in the Trailblazer. The entry-level LS trim has a 7-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo system. The Convenience Package for the LT trim and up adds a household-style power outlet, an 8-inch touch screen, and extra USB ports. You can also get the larger 8-inch touch screen with the Technology Package for the ACTIV and RS, which also adds a wireless charging pad. 

Interior and Convenience Features

You'll get cloth upholstery in the base LS trim. A fold-flat front passenger seat allows you to transport long items easily. The LT trim adds a power-adjustable driver's seat and heated front seats, while the ACTIV has simulated leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped shift knob. Stepping up to the RS gets you red interior accents. 
The Chevrolet Trailblazer offers several features to make your Pasadena commute more convenient. Heated side mirrors come with the LT trim, which also has a remote start. The RS offers the Sun and Liftgate Package with a hands-free liftgate, and the ACTIV trim is ready for adventure with underbody skid plates, all-terrain tires, and an off-road-tuned suspension.
