My wife was driving my Tahoe from Dallas back to Houston. My son was with her. The front driver side entire wheel came off the vehicle. Everything broke. Brakes, control arm, spring, axle, all gone. As soon as we arrived at the dealership, Ash Bennett was super helpful and really listened to what we were looking for. We took the car for a test drive, and he paid close attention to my concerns. I recently purchased a 2020 white V6 Camaro from Monument Chevrolet. It had peanut butter tan leather interior and a sunroof, and I can honestly say this was not just a car purchase. It was the end of a long journey that started in the summer of 2021 and ended with a level of satisfaction I wasn’t sure was still possible in today’s auto market. This specific combination—a V6, white exterior, tan leather interior, and a sunroof—is nearly impossible to find. Most dealerships don’t carry them, and if they do, they rarely last. I later found out the original owner special-ordered it and kept it until trading it in for a truck. That made this a rare find, and I moved on it the moment I saw it listed. My salesperson was Sarah Guerrero, and she was nothing short of exceptional. Her brother, who assisted her, was equally professional and kind. The finance manager and the entire Monument team made what is normally an exhausting and overly complicated process feel tailored, transparent, and respectful of my time and intelligence. To give context, I’m someone who typically avoids dealerships altogether. I already own two cars, and I usually buy cash from private sellers because the dealership experience is often loaded with gimmicks, unnecessary games, and an unfortunate tendency to overtalk buyers out of their own interest. I cannot count the number of times I have walked away from a car I wanted simply because of the dealership’s inability to respect a straightforward transaction. Whether it’s inflated fees, bait-and-switch pricing, or add-ons that magically appear after I’ve fallen in love with the car—I’ve seen it all. That absolutely did not happen at Monument Chevrolet. I didn’t come in to haggle because the price was right. The value was clear, and more importantly, the people were honest. The finance manager went above and beyond. Not only did I not have to put a single dollar down, but he worked the numbers to ensure I could also afford gap insurance, a tire and hazard warranty for two years, and a couple of oil changes. He didn’t try to upsell me on what I didn’t need. He focused on getting me what I valued. And yes, I was financed through a credit union, which I believe allowed me to get an 8.9 percent interest rate. I understand that my credit score at the time—798—did a lot of that work, but the point remains: the process respected the effort I brought to the table and met me with effort of its own. I also want to acknowledge a small but meaningful gesture that stood out. Since I drove to the dealership alone, Sarah and her brother followed me home and helped get my new car into my garage. That was personal, and it mattered. The entire experience was smooth, memorable, and uniquely aligned with my values. I’m 46 years old, and I’ve bought enough cars to know that most purchases feel transactional. This one felt intentional. It’s not that I was treated like royalty. It’s that I was treated like a grown man with sense, who knew exactly what he wanted, and who deserved to be met with clarity, fairness, and professionalism. This Camaro motivated me to finish my master’s degree. It was the car I wanted to celebrate a major milestone, and for two years I waited for the right one to show up. The only thing disappointing is that vehicle was received, but we weren't notified. I called and got confirmation that it had arrived and had already been diagnosed of the issue. We approved what seemed like a very fair price. We picked it up that same evening thanks to the late hours of the service dept. The folks that we dealt with at Monument were all friendly and we appreciate their good services.

It was suggested I wait for a short while. They wanted to see if they could find the problem quickly. Long story short, I ended up waiting 5 1/2 hours. Part had to be ordered. They gave my car back. Had used 1/4 of a tank of gas. When you turn the car off, a cooling fan under the hood comes on & stays on for approximately 15 min each time time the car is started. Also, seems to be hesitating & surging when driving it. Have been waiting 6 days now for the part that was ordered to come in.

Our traverse triggered the Check Engine warning light. We brought it in and discovered that a repair covered under a special warranty needed to be done. The work was done, and we picked up the car. The Check Engine light remained on after driving fifty miles or more. We called the service department. We were told they failed to plug something back in and to bring the car back. We did, and it was quickly done. I then took the car for an oil change and was informed that the cap to the windshield wiper fluid reservoir was missing. I called the service department again and was told that the cap broke when they check the level during initial repair work, but failed to replace it or let me know. Furthermore, if I were to come back, they would replace it at no charge. They did. I'm very glad they were honest with me and made everything right. However, I had to make three trips because they were careless in the process.

I recently went for an oil change and tire rotation. (Approx. A week ago) My appointment was at 10:30 i arrived at 9:30 since I had to return to work and do other errands that day. At 11:30 I was told that there was an issue on my tire and I needed to pay to get it fixed. I did not receive my car until 5:30 of that day making me call off of work and Uber to and from my other errands. However, the last appointment before this recent one, I went for an oil change and tire rotation and I was told I had the exact same issue. I paid that time. And now this recent time they were telling me I had the exact same problem on the exact same tire. So In other words, they did NOT fix the issue i supposedly had eventhough I paid for it. The agent actually advised me that it was dangerous to drive that way. And this was all unbeknownst to me since I trusted the services to be done. They did not charge me again for ACTUALLY doing the labor this time. And NOW my steering wheel is shaking so I have to return to monument, today actually, to see what the issue is. Since my steering wheel was NOT doing this before my service. And AGAIN the last time I was here for the tire rotation and oil change I had the SAME issue to my steering wheel it wasn't until my "stabila track" light came on that they realized what they did and they fixed it without charging me AGAIN. I do NOT except nor will I pay for them to diagnose my car to see what the issue is since you/the service department was at fault for not doing things properly.

The truck was fixed, number four cylinder needed a new coil, spark plug and wire, with an oil change. this appointment was Monday at 8am. I asked the service tech, if it was going to be looked at and she advised me yes. I asked the question because last time it was brought in for the same thing with an appointment, it was kept for two day before being looked at. service person called Tuesday to tell me that they fourth problem. I called or text wed morning to check on the status and never got a return phone call from her. Finally at 2@0pm on Wednesday I decided to get a ride up there to check on it. my service person wasn't around and the gentleman directly next to her was very polite and helped me nd answered the few questions that I had. He advised me that the vehicle was ready. I paid and left. not very pleased at all with the way I was treated. This dealership is close to my location; however I think I will find another. I just don't understand appointment at 8 on a Monday and vehicle not even looked at til late Tuesday when she called me. I know one client won't matter to y'all but I can be treated better by someone else, im sure. The truck was fixed though.

It was 4 days after turning in my car for 1 code before I decided to call back for an update. I told Cristi I wouldn’t be doing the repairs there so I figured she should’ve understood to close up the ticket log. No, 45 min before I arrived to get my car later in the day, Scott who was more helpful, tells me they need to switch my battery? I never had a battery problem. Now I’m getting charged for 2 diagnostics. The balding older Caucasian lady I’m guessing she’s supposed a receptionist at the service center? Totally rude and unhelpful. Looked irritated I even asked her anything. I finally picked up my car Tuesday to take it elsewhere. Cristi is like 1 day behind with the case. I’ve been there before and never had such a lousy experience. Scott was at least able to catch me up but he couldn’t release my car that day because everybody else had gone home so he didn’t know if my car was still open…I won’t be coming back.

I was sold a car that had AC issues within 1 week of buying from yall. So I had to pay $1450 right off the gate. After the fix my car was making a noise and then all the warnings came on and the serpentine belt fell and I was left stranded. The only great thing that has happened was the quick response of Ms Aguirre she got my car towed and brought to the dealer and fixed always staying in contact with me. They didn’t have my name on the waiting list and thought I left the building when I was there the whole time and spoke to multiple employees throughout my time waiting. I would have been there even longer if I didn’t ask for an update on my vehicle at 6pm. They said they didn’t realize I was in the waiting room and thought I left a long time ago even though I told them I was not leaving and will be waiting for the vehicle. I came to have my battery checked. It was bad so had it replaced. The only problems were they didn't set the time and date ( charged $24.99 to install) and didn't tell me it would take time for the tire pressure censers to start working again. Made an appointment 4 weeks in advance for the ABS not working on a GMC pickup and was then informed upon drop-off that "they may not be able to look at it today". Truck sat there all day, no work performed. Then I was told that the issue with the ABS was being caused by the transmission and they could probably look at that in few weeks if I leave it there. Absolutely the worst customer service and mechanical incompetency in the history of mankind.

While my service advisor or any other service advisor I deal with are very helpful my issue is that it seems that the last few times that I had needed a service other than an oil change I am being informed that I will have to leave my vehicle overnight for a diagnostic device to be ran. I cannot leave my vehicle overnight. I understand this is how you operate but it is making thing that I am going to have to look elsewhere for service needs to my vehicle. I have always bought my vehicle back here since I have purchased it from y'all but I guess it may be time for me to move on. You do not offer a loaner vehicle when you keep a vehicle which makes it hard to get back and forth to work while a personal vehicle is being worked on.

Took my truck in for repairs. After picking it up . I noticed some specks in the paint. Took it back in . Employee immediately blamed me saying I parked under a tree or something. Body shop employee came out and looked at it . They took it to the shop and buffed some of the specks out. Hopefully it didn’t cause any damage to the clear coat. There are still some specks and they scratched up my grill when buffing….

In an effort to be on time to work I elected to have the 0700-appointment time. I made the appointment the day prior and came in the next morning. I arrived at 0657 and was not aware that the doors to the building would be locked. I attempted to open the door and the man that was sitting right in front of the door held his fingers up indicating the number of minutes until the doors would be opened. While I do not have an issue with not opening the doors until the designated time, I do have an issue with the fact that when I made the appointment I was not told that if I arrived early that the doors would not be opened until 0700 as well as the way the employee indicated to me about the door being locked just did not seem to be the best way to go about it. The service person that did help me and was very kind. As always Marc the shuttle driver was amazing.

Came in for oil and air filter change. The air filter life on the dash screen said 71% but it was dirty. No discussion about this from service rep. Oil change was a quarter shy of full, when I got home I checked it didn’t register on the dipstick. This is the second time in a row this happened. Generally the people are pleasant, the truck has been great, but service price/value has me thinking of taking a different route especially since I don’t get advice on maintaining the vehicle for 500,000 miles which is what our mindset is when we spend $90,000 on a vehicle.

I just went in for service and my truck is making a noise (its nothing the dealer did) when you give it gas I come to this point to say that no one said your truck is making a noise after they said they did a 27 point inspection. This is where quality and reputation come into play. Dont just get them in and out. I have had bad experiences in the past but monument chevrolet did every thing to make it right. I dont think its the dealers its Chevy quality is not the same cheap parts go back to what made chevy #1.

We brought our vehicle in on December 8 for repairs to the torque tube, which had previously been repaired in May 2025 and was still under manufacturer warranty. A few days later, we received a call from the service advisor stating the issue was related to the starter and that it had caught fire. We explained that this was not the reason we brought the vehicle in. After speaking with her supervisor, he confirmed that the information was incorrect and instead stated the issue was due to a bad battery and that the vehicle had not caught fire. He also confirmed that the torque tube still needed repair. We were later informed that the torque tube was on backorder. In February, we were told the vehicle was ready for pickup. When we called to arrange pickup, we were asked if they could keep the vehicle one additional day. The following day, when we called again, we were informed there was now a new issue—a gas leak in the gas tank. This was extremely concerning, as there was no gas leak when we initially brought the vehicle in. The dealership had worked extensively around the area, including reassembling the vehicle, yet claimed to have only discovered the leak afterward. We made it clear that we would not accept responsibility for this repair, as the issue did not exist prior to their service. After picking up the vehicle, the smell of gas was immediately noticeable, even filling our home. We escalated the matter to the Service Manager and the Vice President of Monument, but both refused to reconsider their position and insisted we were responsible for the repair. Over multiple visits and more than three hours of discussions, we consistently explained our concerns and emphasized that the problem arose only after their work. Despite this, the dealership refused to take accountability. In addition, communication throughout this process was extremely poor. Calls to the service department often went unanswered, and we were repeatedly transferred between staff. The only time we received return calls was after escalating the issue. In all our years of vehicle ownership, we have never experienced such unprofessional service. Based on this experience, we would not return to this dealership and would strongly caution others against purchasing or servicing a vehicle there. This situation reflects a serious lack of accountability and customer care and deserves further attention.

Service agent was very nice, polite and helpful. Vehicle was in for windsheild replacement thru the Assurant Vehicle Care Protection plan. Windsheild was replaced while in the rain. I experienced water leaking from ceiling control area. No problems at this time. Wonder why windsheild was changed while in the rain. Will contact dealership if problems do come up.
